A New Multi-Attribute Decision-Making Framework for Policy-Makers by Using Interval-Valued Triangular Fuzzy Numbers

Policy-makers are often hesitant to invest in unproven solutions because of a lack the decision-making framework for managing innovations as portfolio investments that balances risk and return, especially field developing new technologies. This study provides matrix decision making policy-makers identify IoT applications agriculture sector future investment based on two dimensions sustainable development return challenge using novel MADM approach. To this end, identified fall into eight areas meta-synthesis method. The authors extracted set criteria from literature. Later, fuzzy Delphi method helped finalise it. extended SWARA with interval-valued triangular numbers (IVTFN SWARA) used it weighting characteristics. Then, alternatives were rated Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) ARAS). Finally, decision-makers evaluated results ratings sustainability by decision-making.
